Four Hours To Turn Your Experience Into Usable Evidence
This is a live working session. You will learn the MABY evidence method, apply it to your own experience and begin building a Personal Evidence Bank you can continue using across CVs, supporting statements, applications and interviews.
During the workshop, you will
- Learn how to separate a duty from real evidence.
- Identify relevant moments from your existing roles and responsibilities.
- Develop three structured Evidence Records.
- Test their quality against the MABY standard.
- Map your evidence against two roles you are considering.
- Leave knowing how to continue building your bank independently.
The MABY Evidence Principle
If it was true on your first day, it is not evidence.
The problem
Responsible for maintaining project documentation. Involved in stakeholder communications. Supported the delivery team. Every one of those was true before you had done a single thing, which is exactly why they score nothing. The assessor already knew what the job involved. Your job title told them.
The outcome
Evidence shows what was happening, what you personally contributed, the judgement you used and what changed as a result. Written properly, it gives you something you can confidently explain when the follow up questions begin.

Duty or Evidence
A test you keep using on every application you write from here. Then you watch one Evidence Record built in front of you from five vague words.
Your First Build, Guided
You begin with a shared records and reporting requirement, giving everyone a clear starting point while the method and expected standard are demonstrated. A calibrated example goes on screen as you work, so you can see the standard you are building to.
Two More, On Your Own Material
From your own experience, aimed at the capability areas the two job adverts you brought actually ask for. The support reduces gradually as you become more confident using the method independently.
Check, Tag, Index, Map
The six point MABY Evidence Quality Check on everything you built, and the weakest one strengthened. A usage tag on every record. An Evidence Index so you can find the right one under pressure. Then a draft map against two roles you are genuinely considering, and a clear view of your strongest evidence and the areas to develop next.

This workshop will help you if:

You do not need to have held a formal project job title. Your evidence will be identified through what you did, the judgement you used and the contribution you made. The calibrated examples are written from the perspective of people who did not hold project titles, including a healthcare assistant, a retail supervisor, a school administrator and somebody organising a school fair during a career break.

What To Bring
- A laptop or desktop. Not a phone. You will be moving between the workshop, your workbook and two job adverts.
- Two live or recent job adverts for project delivery roles you are genuinely considering.
- Notes about your relevant experience. Employment, training, simulations, voluntary work, self employment, anything. Rough is fine.
- About thirty minutes for the pre-work, which opens in your course area 48 hours before.
Your current CV may be useful as a memory prompt, but you will not be editing it during this workshop.

Do I need to have held a project job title?
No. The workshop is built for people who have not. You will identify your evidence through what you did, the judgement you used and the contribution you made, rather than through what your position was called. The calibrated examples come from a healthcare assistant, a retail supervisor, a school administrator, a self employed sole trader and somebody organising a school fair during a career break.
What will I build during the workshop?
Three Evidence Records from your own experience, developed using the MABY method and tested against the six point MABY Evidence Quality Check. Alongside them you build your evidence map against two roles you are considering, your evidence inventory of experiences to develop next, a usage tag on every record and an Evidence Index so you can find the right example quickly. Together these form the start of your Personal Evidence Bank.
How does the Evidence Bank support my CV?
Your Evidence Bank gives you the source material a strong CV needs. During the workshop, you will identify, structure and map your evidence. You can then use it to build targeted CV content, supporting statements and interview examples.
What if I cannot attend live?
The workshop is recorded and you keep twelve months of access to the recording, your workbook and the MABY evidence tools, so you can work through the method in your own time. If this date does not suit you at all, or it has already filled, join the waiting list and you will hear about the next date first.
How long will I have access?
Twelve months. That covers the recording, your workbook, the MABY Calibrated Example Library and The Tasks You Already Do. Your own work is yours to download and keep.
